BIRTHDAY BASH FOR TAYLOR & TANNER

For those of you who don't know, Taylor and Tanners birthdays are 3 days apart. Now we're going to add another one into the mix. Tanner the 14th, Taylor the 17th and Tallula the 20th, all 3 days apart. The birthday madness began when I found out that I was going to be having Tanner via C-Section nearly a month early. We realized that I would be in the hospital on Taylors birthday so we threw together an emergency party the Saturday before going to the hospital. It seems that we've had April madness ever since. We've tried doing separate parties and combined parties. It really just depends on the year. This year we opted for a combined party. The theme was Knights and Princesses. We had an absolute blast! The weather was amazing, I think it was about 70 degrees and so beautiful. Our prayers were answered because we could not have done it in our tiny little house.

THIS IS OUR MEDIEVAL FEAST

THE JOUSTING TOURNAMENT! (ride a stick horse to the stick Knight and be the first to knock the hat off with you joust/pool noodle)

ALAN MADE THESE WOOD SWORDS AS PARTY FAVORS AND THE ONE LITTLE DAGGER FOR MY NEPHEW. I PERSONALLY THINK HE DID AN AMAZING JOB, HE JUST MADE THEM UP IN HIS HEAD AND WENT TO WORK.

SLAYING THE DRAGON!

OH THE JOY OF THE WII!
NOTICE THE MATCHING OUTFITS, TATE HAD ONE ON TOO, TALLULA HAS ONE WAITING FOR HER. OH HOW I LOVE MATCHY, MATCHY!

BLOWING OUT THE CANDLES ON THE CASTLE CAKE. AGAIN ANOTHER CREATION BY ALAN...YES YOU READ RIGHT, MADE BY ALAN. I DO NOT MAKE THE CAKES IN OUR HOUSE, ALAN DOES. YES HE IS WELL TRAINED, YOU KNOW IF YOU TELL A MAN HE'S SOOO GOOD AT SOMETHING, HE'LL DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN. HENCE, THE CAKE MAKING!

  2. That was a fun party. I'm glad that we got to come. The weather was great, which made it even a better party. By the way...you sure are having a lot of those bogus comments on your blog, what's up with that. How crazy. See you in a couple of days.

  3. Looks like a fun party. I might have to copy it. Except I just have boys so it would be a knight party. Cute cake. Your husband seems like a real Marty Stewart. Congrats on your c-section date. I am so jealous. I wish I were right behind you.
