The Boss...Day 2!

Really it's day 1 because we got him last night, but whatever! So it just so happens that this is the perfect dog. He is peppy and fun and a little crazy. He can totally hold his own with our brood of children even though he's as big as one of their shoes. Yet the second you pick him up he just snuggles right into you...every time. It never fails, he can be running in circles then the next minute fast asleep in your arms. He's so sweet. Here's a couple pictures I snapped of him with Alan today just before a photo shoot I had this afternoon. P.S. I promise I won't become a crazy dog person and turn this into a dog blog! For all my none dog loving friends who have commented...I was SO NOT a dog lover either, but seriously how could you not love this little guy!!!

Um...yes, he wears this little hoodie all time. Alan was mortified but it's actually necessary. He's so tiny that he gets really cold. I'm pushing for a spiked collar but Tanner has put his foot down and is refusing. He says that he doesn't want Boss to be a bully. I explained to him that he's like 3 pounds, I think it's a safe bet that he won't be a bully but Tanner's still not having it. I'll win this one I tell you! You'll see, there will be spiked collar on this little guy some day!

The rest of the pictures are from last night when we brought him home.

I have to watch The Boss and Lula VERY closely. They love each other deeply but dangerously! At least they like the same toys, they actually share nicely. His dog bone for her fluffy stuffed animal, why not! Her binky for his sqeaky tiger. His dog food for her cracker. I guess this is sorta like having twins except I only nurse one of them!

  2. I am not a pet lover, BUT .....the Boss is so CUTE! My kids would be so jealous. I love the little hoodie and I am totally siding with Tanner about the spikey neck thing! I think you should not put something on your dog that you wouldn't want on your children! ;)

  3. Oh my gosh, he's adorable! We need to get our little dude a dog too but I think we're going to wait a few more years...right now all of our neighbors have dogs he can play with whenever he wants anyway... *wink*

Love the pictures of The Boss with Alan's feet! You can see how little he really is.

  7. So Cute! OK so I made some Jalapeno Heaven this afternoon for the Burton's Farewell and those who were fortunate to partake LOVED them. You were here in 'spirit' ('Jalapeno Heaven' - tehehe).

  8. Kathleen, you made me miss you guys. Darn you!

To answer the how much bigger question. We think he'll be about 8 or 9 pounds so he may double in size.

  9. I LOVE HIM! You might tell Tanner to keep him away when I come because I WILL steal him! ;) I keep telling J that I need a puppy sometime in the future! He's so cute!!! By the way taylor's hair is really cute! She's startiing to look like a pretty teenager (rather than a pretty little girl) who will have Alan bringing out the shot gun to ward off all of those love sick boys!
