The Big Lights!

I hate to say it but Tallula HATES the big lights. I've tried to get some shots twice now and she does not like to cooperate with studio lighting. She's just going to have to get used to it though because I'm never going to stop. I'll post the few that I did get for your enjoyment though.
As for an update on Mom and baby...were doing great. I'm healing incredibly fast and Tallula has adapted to the outside world quite well. The one hitch is that she is a major Mamas girl. She has me played big time! I have to sleep with her (a big no no in my parenting book). She wants to be in my arms day and night. Seeing as this is my last baby I haven't been to aggressive about breaking her of this little habit. I'll just bust out in tears at least once a day thinking about this being the last time. Let's hope my hormones level out soon!

BABY SHOWER #2

My friend Jodi threw my a ward shower. We were friends way back in the good old days before we moved to Georgia, now were in the same ward again and I'm so glad. I can't even explain how good it feels to live back in Puyallup and to rekindle old friendships. Many of my good friends have stayed in the area and so it feels as though I never left. We love our new ward and feel so at home here.

BIRTHDAY BASH FOR TAYLOR & TANNER

For those of you who don't know, Taylor and Tanners birthdays are 3 days apart. Now we're going to add another one into the mix. Tanner the 14th, Taylor the 17th and Tallula the 20th, all 3 days apart. The birthday madness began when I found out that I was going to be having Tanner via C-Section nearly a month early. We realized that I would be in the hospital on Taylors birthday so we threw together an emergency party the Saturday before going to the hospital. It seems that we've had April madness ever since. We've tried doing separate parties and combined parties. It really just depends on the year. This year we opted for a combined party. The theme was Knights and Princesses. We had an absolute blast! The weather was amazing, I think it was about 70 degrees and so beautiful. Our prayers were answered because we could not have done it in our tiny little house.

THIS IS OUR MEDIEVAL FEAST

BABY SHOWER #1

I had my first baby shower yesterday. I think everyone had a good time. It was good to see old friends and new friends. I feel silly having a bunch of showers since this is my fourth baby. But it's been 10 years since I've had a little girl and it's so nice to get everything pink again!

Nena and Natalie after frantically getting the food all ready!

2 MORE WEEKS!

I think were only going to have to wait two more weeks to meet baby Tallula. I'm measuring quit huge (3-4 weeks to big). So we had a few ultrasounds last week and this week to see how big she really is. It looks like if I were to go full term, which is 4 weeks from now she would be a whopper of a baby. When I had my ultrasound last week she should have been weighing about 5 pounds and she was 6 1/2 pounds. My other 3 kids all came out around 7 pounds so I'm not sure why this one is so big. On top of her being bigger I'm carring around some extra amniotic fluid which dosn't help! Anyway my doctor said it would be ok to have my C-Section at 38 weeks which is in just over 2 weeks from now. I'll see him on Wednesday and we'll nail down an exact date. YA!
