Taylor is in 5th grade this year and she started playing the violin in orchestra this year. She had her first orchestra concert tonight at Rogers High School. It was really fun to go to because it was 5 elementary schools, 2 junior highs and 1 high school all together. They did such a great job. It's amazing to see how they progress in skill in just a few short years. I hope she sticks with it because Alan and I both love orchestra (not playing, just listening) and we look forward to years of concerts to come. Check out how beautiful she is, she's getting so grown up! Being in that high school tonight made me realize how close we are to that stage in her life, time is flying by to fast.

Oh good for Taylor!!! music played a big role in my youth(for lack of a better word). I hope she finds the same kind of blessings I did.
that is so funny. I didn't see you there! I feel the same way about them growing up.
That's so good for her! :) I think learning a musical instrument is so important for kids. Not only is it suppose to help them academically, but it really boosts their self-esteem.
she is a beauty! i love the white flower too! good job taylor!
